Eagle Rock, Virginia Wine...paired with a view
The planting of Riesling, Pinot Noir, and Gewurztraminer marked the beginning in 1985. At 1200 feet above sea level, the western facing slope of the former hay field proved to be the perfect place for the first vinifera plantings in southwest Virginia.
The vineyard quickly expanded in all directions with the addition of more Riesling, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Franc, Gewurztraminer, and Traminette. More expansion is planned for additional varieties to enhance and expand our current offering of fine wines.
